Salisbury train crash victims may suffer psychologically not just physically, say solicitors representing two passengers.

Serious injury solicitors from Fieldfisher, award-winning injury claims lawyers, confirmed that they have been instructed to pursue a personal injury claim for two of the victims injured.

Fieldfisher commented that the thirteen people taken to hospital after the incident included a child.

Fieldfisher lawyers Jill Greenfield and Dushal Mehta will represent the victims who have instructed them.

Jill Greenfield said: "Luckily, most of those involved were not badly injured physically but it may be that psychological injuries are much more serious for people trapped on a train thinking they might die.

"We will investigate what happened and do everything to ensure our clients receive the appropriate medical care to cope with their injuries.

"Our thoughts are with all those involved and their families.”

Fieldfisher describe themselves as the UK's leading personal injury, medical negligence and asbestos compensation claims solicitors.

A spokesperson said what makes the Fieldfisher team 'stand out' is they intervene early to see what medical treatment or rehabilitation each person needs, so they can return 'as far as possible' to how they were before the injury.
