Salisbury's Annual Remembrance Sunday Service will start at the war memorial in Guildhall Square tomorrow (Sunday, November 14), and a procession will take place through the city.

To ensure crowd safety, a number of roads will be closed for the parade, and traffic diversions will be in place.

The following roads will be closed from 10.15 – 11.45:

  • Castle Street (Closed incoming from Avon Approach to Blue Boar Row)
  • Blue Boar Row
  • Queen Street
  • New Canal
  • High Street (Partly - from its junction with New Canal to its junction with Bridge Street)
  • Bridge Street
  • Fisherton Street (Partly - from its junction with Bridge Street to its junction with Malthouse Lane)
  • Catherine Street
  • Milford Street
  • St. Thomas Square

The following roads will be closed from 12.15 – 13.30:

  • Bridge Street
  • Fisherton St up to Malthouse Lane
  • Catherine Street
  • New Canal
  • Milford Street
  • High Street (Partly - from its junction with New Canal to its junction with Bridge Street)
  • Silver Street
  • Minster Street
  • Blue Boar Row
  • Castle Street (Closed up to Chipper Lane)
