A resident has caught on video the planes taking off from RAF Fairford, which may have been the cause of great rumbling sounds over Salisbury last night (Wednesday, November 10).

The Journal understands that the sound, reported at around 11pm last night, was caused by two Rockwell B-1 Lancers heading towards Africa.
Steve Daniels took the video at the RAF station.
“There goes number one,” he says in the video. “There’s number two.
“Very hot.”
