A FIRE involving a pizza oven in Alderholt was dealt with by firefighters over the weekend.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to a shed fire on Down Lodge Close at around 8.15 on Saturday morning.
Fire crews from Verwood and Fordingbridge attended the incident.
The fire had spread from the pizza oven to the walls and roof space of the shed and was extinguished by firefighters using hose reel jets.
The incident was dealt with by 9am.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "On arrival firefighters found a fire that had spread from a pizza oven to the walls and roof space of the shed.
“Two breathing apparatus wearers used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire – one wall was severely damaged. The stop came at 9am.”
