Here are some pictures of the Remembrance Sunday commemorations held in Fordingbridge.

A short service was held at the Memorial Gates of Riverside Park followed by a procession to St Mary’s Church for the service.

Canon Gary Philbrick of Avon Valley Churches led the service, which was attended by local veterans, military, cadets, Scouts, Beavers, Brownies and Rainbows as well as a large turnout from members of the public.

The commemorations were also attended by the town mayor, Cllr Edward Hale, and members of the Fordingbridge British legion.

Hyde Band provided the Last Post and Reveille, and played for the parade.

Wreaths were laid by around 20 youth and other organisations.
