SALISBURY will be kicking-off the festive season tomorrow (Friday November 19).
Although, there won't be a big Christmas lights switch-on event this year a special evening of activities is planned.
Christmas in Market Place
The lights will be switched on in time for an evening of family-friendly festive fun in the Market Place.
From 4pm to 8pm, there will be reindeer, carol singers and other Christmas activities and performers.
Christmas on the Square
The pop-up Christmas on the Square event in front of the Guildhall as starts tomorrow including a destination bar and food area which will run until January 3, 2022.
Meet Santa
Santa will be taking time out of his schedule to meet the children of Salisbury.
He will be stopping off at Santa’s Little Wonderland at various times up until Christmas Eve.
Time slots must be booked in advance. Tickets can be bought through the Experience Salisbury website.
Nutcrackers
Salisbury BID is bringing back its Nutcracker Kings this Christmas.
They will be located in businesses across the city centre and can be seen from tomorrow (November 19) until December 31.
The location of the Nutcrackers will change every two weeks. There will be a draw at the end of each two week period.
Christmas Tree Trail
Salisbury City Council’s Christmas Tree Trail will return to the city centre from November 19.
Starting at Salisbury Cathedral and finishing at the Market Place, the trail will guide you through the medieval streets of Salisbury.
