A NEW Forest pensioner died of a serious head injury after an unwitnessed fall.
Harold John Holland, 80, of Sandyballs holiday village at Godshill near Fordingbridge, died at home on October 21, an inquest in Winchester was told.
Mr Holland had suffered a fall in his bathroom. He was discharged from hospital to palliative care and died ten days later.
The inquest heard the cause of death was a subdural haematoma.
Senior coroner Christopher Wilkinson adjourned the inquest to April 21 2022.
