With the festive season upon us now comes the challenge of choosing one of Salisbury's many great resturants to celebrate with friends, family, or even colleagues.
To make things easier, we have put together the some of the best rated resturants and pubs for British Cuisine on Trip Advisor for your traditional Christmas meal as well as the price ranges.
Of course, there's no rule book which says your Christmas meal needs to be traditional, so feel free to check out other resturant reccomendations from readers.

1) Allium
Ox Row, Salisbury
Price ranges for December menu mains: £18-£26
Independent, family-run restaurant, Allium serves modern British cuisine in the Salisbury City centre overlooking market square. Their December menu has some mouth watering options, so is definitely one to impress. They also have vegan and vegetarian options for every course on the menu.
2) The Chapter House
St Johns Street, Salisbury
Christmas Party Menu for two/three courses on certain days: £24.95 - £31.95
This cosy resturant and pub is five minutes away from Salisbury cathedral and is full of Christmas spirit, and perhaps some spirits too, as it is nearly 800 years old. Their Christmas menu has a set price that varies depending on the amount of courses, except on Christmas Day itself when there is a fixed price.
3) The George & Dragon
Castle Street, Salisbury
Christmas menu prices for two/three courses: £23-£28
This local pub, which was voted Salisbury's favourite by Journal readers, have a great Christmas menu. They also have an outdoor garden overlooking the Avon river, for those not afraid of the cold. The christmas menu has vegan and vegetarian options for every course.
4) Market Inn
Butcher Row, Salisbury
Price range for Christmas menu mains: £18-£22
This pub in the centre of Salisbury has a huge Christmas menu that caters to varous dietary requirements. They are also hosting a New Years Eve party.
5) The Ox Row Inn
Ox Row, Salisbury
Price range for Christmas two course/ three course mains: £29-£33 (With reduced prices for Children)
Fuller's Pub, The Ox Row Inn, has gone all out for Christmas with a wide ranging menu that caters for most dietry requirements. Children under 12 can eat here for £14.50- £16.50 making it a good choice for families. There are also options for Christmas day.
