OFFICERS are investigating three reports of criminal damage at an address in Downton.

Police believe a catapult or something similar was used and have warned of the dangers of using such a weapon.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "We can confirm we have had three reports of criminal damage at an address in Downton, since Tuesday October 26.

"Our investigations are ongoing, but it is understood that a catapult or something similar has been used.

"While this is being treated as an isolated incident, we can’t stress enough the dangers of using such a weapon and the distress and harm it can cause to the victims and anyone with any information regarding these types of incident is urged to contact us."

Anyone with information regarding these incidents, including dash cam or CCTV footage, is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101 and if you have been the victim of a similar incident, please report it to officers.
