THESE four loveable canines are all looking for homes to call their own.

They are currently being looked after by Dogs Trust Salisbury.

Claire Rowe, the rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Salisbury, said: “The four adorable dogs looking for their forever homes this month are Astra, Milo, Buddy and Riley. They’re all very different but the one thing they have in common is the desire to find a loving family and a sofa to call their own.

“If you think you could give an of these dogs the forever homes they are looking for, please go to dogstrust.org.uk/rehoming to start the virtual adoption process.”

1. Milo

German Shepherd cross, Milo is two-years-old and is a really clever boy who enjoys training with his human pals. He already knows sit and paw and keen to learn more.

Milo would need to be the only pet in the home but could live with older teenagers.

He's a fun, bouncy boy and would love his new family to continue his training in his new home. Milo is a loveable lad who’ll make a great pet.

2. Buddy

Buddy is a six-year-old English Bulldog cross who is really affectionate once he gets to know you.

He’s an intelligent dog who enjoys learning new things and showing you how clever he is.

Buddy loves his food, sometimes a little too much, and is definitely partial to the odd tasty treat. He's very playful and enjoys playing with soft toys and tennis balls.

Buddy’s ideal home will be in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle with patient owners who can carry on with his training. He’d prefer to be the only pet in an adult only home, with no visiting children. He’d love a garden where he can play until his heart’s content.

3. Riley

Sweet six-year-old Lurcher, Riley, is a loving boy who is looking for an understanding family to adopt him.

He is looking for an active home with owners who have time to continue to his ongoing training.

He can be overwhelmed when things get busy so is looking for an adult-only home with very few visitors and access to quiet walking spots where he won’t have to come into contact with many other dogs.

A large secure garden is a must where he can run around and let off some steam.

4. Astra

Astra's favourite thing is to explore the countryside on a leisurely walk. She walks beautifully on her lead so if you are someone that likes to be out enjoying the scenery, then Astra will be the dream walking buddy.

After a walk she'd love to play tug with a rope toy before having a snooze out in the sun.

Astra has come a long way since being in our care and is incredibly bright and learns quickly. She would thrive in an adult-only home where she can have her own space to eat and sleep.

Astra has spondylosis so new owners will need to be prepared to adopt a dog who will be on lifelong medication.
