IF YOU see a number of Santas in Salisbury today (Saturday November 4) it is for the first Salisbury Santa Fun Run.

The event, which is in aid of Naomi House & Jacksplace, will start outside Salisbury Cathedral at around 8am.

Those taking part will do a 5k walk, run or even skip which will take the around Salisbury before finishing back at Salisbury Cathedral.

Charlotte Patrick, the senior fundraiser (events) at Naomi House & Jacksplace, said: "We are delighted to be bringing our flagship fun run to the streets of Salisbury. Being able to stage such a popular and high profile event in the centre of Salisbury is wonderful, and we are indebted to our many partners for helping to make this happen.

"Our Santa’s will have a very merry time and we are so very grateful to them for doing their bit to support life-limited and life-threatened children and young people on good days, difficult days and last days.”
