A LARGE amount of fly-tipping was discovered by police officers on patrol in Ringwood.
The officers from the town's neighbourhood policing team were conducting patrols of rural areas on the night of Thursday November 3 along with New Forest response officer.
A post on the Ringwood Police Facebook page said that a "large amount" of fly tipped household and building waste was found in a field entrance at Long Lane in Ringwood.
The post added: "If you have information as to who is responsible for this offence call Ringwood Police in confidence on 101 quoting 44210484369 to ensure those who blight our countryside and impact on rural livelihoods don't profit from crime or destroy fragile habitats with hazardous substances."
