Here is a list of the closest walk-in Covid vaccine and booster jab centres to Salisbury and their opening times and requirements.

Boris Johnson declared an 'emergency' in the face of Omicron yesterday, and today said he wants to hit 'warp speed' with their booster vaccine campaign. 

Covid booster vaccines are now available at walk-ins for over-18's, but the time of writing the nearest NHS centre that provides walk-in boosters is 34 miles away.

Salisbury NHS Trust highly reccomends booking a booster vaccine and are not advertising walk-in vaccine appointments at Salisbury City Hall.

Here is a list of the centres offering walk-in Covid vaccines, the dates they are offering them, their requirements, and their distance from Salisbury. 

Everything listed below is accurate as of the time of writing, although be aware that this information is updated on the NHS website as the situation changes. 

Only two of these centres are currently offering booster jabs (marked with an asterisk). 

The times listed are specific to walk-ins not appointments, and all third dose jabs require a letter to be brought to the centre from your GP. 

AR Pharmacy

16.2 miles away

They are not offering walk-in booster jabs. They are offering first and second AstraZeneca jabs to over 40-year-olds between 5-6pm on December 14.

Oakley Road

18.2 miles away

They are not offering boosters. They are offering first and second jabs Pfizer jabs to those aged 16+ as well as third jabs for those with a clinical requirement. Their opening times can be viewed on the Oakly Road NHS listing.

They are also offering second doses of AstraZeneca on Wednesday, December 15, between 8am-3pm and third jabs for those with a clinical requirement.

Somerset Motor Museum (12-15 years)

33 miles away

This centre is for those aged 12-15 only and only offers first dose vaccines. They are open between 3-5pm from December 13 until 17 December, with times to be updated on the website

Riverside Centre

33.7 miles away 

They are not offering booster vaccines. On Wednesday, December 15, between 8am and midday they are offering 40+ year olds first and second doses of AstraZeneca, as well as third doses for those with weakened immune systems. For those age 16 and over they are offering first and second doses Pfizer on Friday, December 17, as well as third doses for those with weakened immune systems.

34 miles away

They are offering booster jabs for those age 40+ tomorrow, December 14, between 8am and 4pm. They will also be offering those age 40+ first and second doses of Pfizer.

St James Hospital

They are not offering booster jabs. They are offering first and second doses of Pfizer for those aged 16+, and third doses for those with weakened immune systems. Check the NHS website for the full list of dates and times

Knowle West Healthy Living Centre

They are not offering booster jabs. They are offering first and second doses of Pfizer for those aged 16+. They are open on Saturday, December 18, between 9am and 5.30pm.

They are offering a booster jab. They are also offering first and second doses of AstraZeneca and Pfizer. They are open on Wednesday, December 15, between 12pm to 8pm.
