SALISBURY'S main Covid-19 vaccination centre is offering walk-in appointments today, December 21.

The former city hall site had previously been urging those eligible for a booster to book their appointments, but today there is capacity for walk-ins.

This is offered to anyone over the age of 18 who has received their first and second vaccine doses.

It must be 91 days after the second Covid-19 jab.

This comes following the accelerated booster roll out across the country.

Everyone eligible for a booster is to be offered a third jab by the end of the year.

Those who haven't been vaccinated at all are also encouraged to use the walk-in service today.

Nearly 10,000 vaccinations have been administed at the vaccine hub since December 13, in response to the roll out.
