Here's how to get a rapid lateral flow test kit in the area, as many pharmacies in Salisbury have run out.

The message from pharmacies in the area is that there are issues with their suppliers.

Some pharmacies have said that they have been ordering in lateral flow test kits every day, but there have been issues with manufacturing that mean that they are not delivered.

These are the sites in Salisbury and Wilton that do not currently have lateral flow test kits available:

  • Superdrug, Old George Mall
  • Boots, Silver Street
  • Tanday Pharmacy, Fisherton House
  • The Council House, Bourne Hill
  • Tesco Southampton Road Pharmacy
  • Rowlands Pharmacy, Millstream Medical Centre, Millstream House
  • Rowlands Pharmacy, Harcourt Medical Centre, Cranebridge Road
  • Bishopdown Surgery Pharmacy
  • Lloyds Pharmacy, Wilton

How to get a rapid lateral flow test kit

The advice, from one Salisbury pharmacy, is that people should order lateral flow tests online, on the Government website.

You can use this link to order them to your house.

The Government says lateral flows should only be ordered and taken if the person is aged 11 or older, does not have coronavirus symptoms, has not been told to self-isolate, and the tests cannot be obtained from work or educational institution.

If you have Covid symptoms, you should get a PCR test as soon as possible, and self-isolate, even if the symptoms are mild.
