PLANS for the first phase of a development of 111 homes and a new roundabout in Fordingbridge are being discussed tomorrow evening (January 6) at 7.30pm.
Fordingbridge Town Council’s planning committee is holding an extraordinary meeting over Zoom about the proposals for land west of Burgate, Salisbury Street.
This includes an outline application for a residential developmentand change of use of land to Alternative Natural Recreational Greenspace, and a community hub as well as a full application for the first phase of development of 111 homes.

An application to alter land at A338 Salisbury Road, Upper Burgate, for a roundabout will also be discussed during the meeting.
The town council will make recommendations to New Forest District Council and New Forest National Park Authority who are the planning authorities.
The public are welcome to attend the online meeting, which will start at 7.30pm.
