A MAN has been arrested and charged for driving while nearly triple the legal alcohol limit.

Wiltshire Police officers breathalysed the motorist after he was caught drink driving in Bulford during the early hours of the morning yesterday, January 6.

During the roadside breath test the driver blew 101 micrograms (UG) of alcohol.

The driver was arrested and taken to Melksham custody where two further evidential breath samples were obtained.

The driver blew 104UG and 102UG.

35UG of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath is the legal limit.

A spokesperson for the force said: "The driver has been charged with drink driving and is due to appear in court in the near future.

"Be smart, don’t drink and drive!"
