CAMERA clubbers have been embracing the latest competition theme – ‘New Dawn’ – with snaps of sunrises and adventure.

Welcoming the new year, we are challenging the Journal’s photography group to capture moments of change, new starts and new beginnings.

Taking a literal approach, we have already been inundated with pictures of sunrises in beautiful landscapes of fields, woodland and towns.

The gallery above shows just some of the editorial team’s favourite submissions from the last few days.

The winning images will be featured in print and online at the end of the month, celebrating a month of wonderful photography.
