A man has been fined over £300 for driving without due care and attention on the A27 in Salisbury.

On July 10, Dean Curtis Miller of Hulse Road, Southampton, drove an Audi A5 on the A27 in Whiteparish without due care and attention.

This goes against section 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, which states: "If a person drives a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road or other public place without due care and attention, or without reasonable consideration for other persons using the road or place, he is guilty of an offence."

Miller pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined £233 by Swindon Magistrates' Court on January 11, 2022.

He must also pay an additional £34 to fund victim services and costs of £110 bringing the total to pay by Febuary 8, 2022, to £377.

Miller's driving license was also endorsed with 5 points.
