A man from Salisbury dodged his train fare and now has to shell out more than £100.

Jonathan Randall, 38, from The Valley, was caught out at Trowbridge for not paying his rail fare on a GWR train on July 15, 2021.

Randall pleaded guilty to this offence at Swindon Magistrates' Court on January 7 this year.

The court fined him £80 and he is to pay the original rail fare on top of this, as well as an additional £34 to fund victim services and £40 in costs.

The total Randall must pay before February 4, 2022, is £168.70.
