The Apprentice has returned to the BBC for 2022 and this year there is an entrepreneur from Swindon featuring on the show.

The popular business series has started airing its 16th series on BBC One on Thursdays and 16 new candidates are fighting for Lord Alan Sugar's investment.

The entrepreneurs will compete to win a life-changing £250,000 by completing tasks and fighting for their right to stay in the famous boardroom.

Kathryn Louise Burn, 29, from Swindon, hopes to win over Lord Sugar to help expand her business.

She set up an online pyjama store called My Christmas Pyjamas in 2018.

According to her Instagram account, she will be launching a new site, My Everyday Pyjamas, in January 2022.

It is not the first time Kathryn has appeared on reality television.

She made her debut on TV screens in 2017 on The Island with Bear Grylls.

After going on the show, Kathryn, also nicknamed Kaggy, said; “I absolutely love a challenge, and I don’t think I could challenge myself any more than this.”

This year, Kaggy is looking forward to a new challenge: “My dreams in my head are absolutely huge and I believe I can achieve them.”

She describes herself as ambitious, kind, often "savage", and says she is on The Apprentice to win and not make friends.

The Apprentice airs on BBC One and iPlayer at 9pm on Thursdays.
