A 36-YEAR-OLD woman has been fined and ordered to pay compensation after assaulting two people and damaging property belonging to a Salisbury pub.

Emily Wight, of Festing Grove, Southsea, Portsmouth, admitted assaulting two people in Salisbury and causing criminal damage at a pub was sentenced by Salisbury Magistrates' Court on January 7.

The offences occurred on December 11, 2021.

The defendant also damaged property to the value of £200 belonging to the New Inn in Salisbury.

Wight was fined £266 and order to pay court costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £34 and compensation of £100.

The court also ordered that she pay a further £200 for the criminal damage offence.
