A SHELTER was destroyed in Ringwood after a fire at the weekend.
Firefighters from Ringwood’s fire station were called to Parkside yesterday (Sunday January 16) at around 1.40pm and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said: “The shelter was fully destroyed in the blaze which was extinguished using one hose reel jet."
Firefighters had dealt with the incident and left the scene just before 2pm.
