A 23-year-old Salisbury man has pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating.
Callum Robert Terrance Donnelly, of Rambridge Crescent, pleaded guilty to the offence, which occurred on Sunday (January 23) in Salisbury.
He appeared in Swindon Magistrates' Court the next day (Monday January 24) for an urgent result, as it was a domestic violence case.
He had been remanded on bail until February 28, when he will appear in Salisbury Magistrates Court.
Bail was granted with conditions - a curfew between 9pm and 7am every day (to be electronically monitored), to live and sleep at his residence, and to not directly or indirectly contact his victim.
These conditions were put in place to prevent interference with witnesses or otherwise obstruct the course of justice.
