There are multiple roadworks that will affect traffic on the A303 over the upcoming week according to National Highways.

The A303 is a major road in southern England that runs between Basingstoke in Hampshire and Honiton in Devon via Stonehenge.

Delays and roadworks that will impact motorists using the A303 in Wiltshire are as follows:

  • On the A303 between Mere to Chicklade from 8pm February 7 to 5am February 9 delays may be caused by two-way signals for signs being put up.
  • On the A303 between Wylye to Mere westbound from from 8pm February 7 to 6am February 9 there will be a lane closure for drainage works
  • The A36 Deptford to Warminster will be closed in both directions for maintenance which may cause delays on diversion routes via the A350 and A303 from 9pm February 7 until 4am February 11
  • On the A303 from 8pm February 9 to 6am February 15 slight delays may be caused by the Mere lane closure in both directions for drainage works.
  • On the A303 at Deptford from 9am to 3pm on February 14 slight delays are expected due to stop and go boards on the westbound entry slip road for barrier works.
  • Delays may be seen on the A303 Amesbury to Parkhouse route which will be used as a diversion for Wiltshire Council's closure of the A345 from 7pm February 14 to 6am February 23
