POLICE are investigating a number of antisocial behaviour incidents where doorbells were rung repeatedly in the Ringwood area.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incidents.

It is alleged that a man has been seen to ring a number of residents' doorbells repeatedly in the Ringwood area over a two-day period between 3.40pm on Friday April 1 and 7.10pm on Saturday April 2.

Police say a number of other incidents have occurred with the latest being just before midnight last night (Wednesday April 6).

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "These incidents have caused significant harassment, alarm and distress to residents.

"Do you know recognise this man? Perhaps you have seen him in the local area?

"The Ringwood Neighbourhood Policing Team are committed to improving the quality of life for the local community and challenging unacceptable behaviour.

"There will be high visibility patrols to target areas with reports of antisocial behaviour and patterns of crime, to protect the public and bring those responsible to justice."

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting reference 44220133983.
