STUNNING architecture, landscapes, birds and wildlife are just some of the subjects captured by the Journal’s camera club photographers this week.

In the gallery above you can see just some of the editorial team’s favourite images of the week.

They include Salisbury Cathedral, swans, horses and natural surroundings – all in black and white as per the new April theme.

This month, the challenge is to photograph in monochrome which uses varying levels of light to represent images rather than relying on colour.

Photographers can choose black and white photography or images that contain shades of neutral grey, sepia, brown, cyan, and blue.

The winning images will be displayed in print and online as well as being published on our social media channels at the end of the month.
