LIVE: A36 closed in both directions after crash

The collision took place at Kingsway Bridge, which crosses the A36 near Kingsway House.

According to National Highways, both lanes of the A36 are closed between the A30 in Salisbury and the A303 in Deptford due to the collision.

Traffic is being diverted via local roads by emergency services at the scene.

The agency says the closure is expected to clear, and normal traffic conditions to resume, between 1.30pm and 1.45pm today.

Police say nobody is believed to have been injured, but emergency services, as well as Network Rail, are at the scene.

Drivers are advised to find alternative routes.
