A lottery ticket holder has come forward to claim a £1m lottery prize.

This comes after a search was launched to find the lucky winner of the unclaimed prize from the EuroMillions draw held on March 25

Camelot UK Lotteries Limited, operator of The National Lottery, confirmed that it has received a claim for the £1,000,000 EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker prize from a ticket bought in the New Forest for the special.

Now the ticket holder has come forward, all 10 prizes from the draw have now been claimed, meaning that 10 new millionaires have been created. The claim will go through the process of validation.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: “What amazing news for this lucky ticket holder who has claimed their prize. We will now focus on supporting the ticket-holder through the process.

“The National Lottery is all about making life-changing things happen, and with the special EuroMillions draw on 25 March 10 lucky ticket-holders are now life-changing millionaires."
