An evening of opera and show songs will fill the rolling countryside in the Woodford Valley this summer.

Celebrate Voice's The Sound of Summer at Little Durnford Manor takes place on Saturday, July 16 from 6pm.

Celebrate Voice director Lynsey Docherty said: "Our summer gala is a quintessentially British celebration of summer. The setting is unrivalled, as music drifts across the audience and out into the valley, creating a breathtaking experience of culture and nature.

“We have always been so well supported for this event, performing to a sell-out audience each year, and we look forward to announcing highlights of the 2022 festival at the show."

Guests will be able to picnic in the grounds while listening to leading opera and music theatre artists, who will perform a wide range of songs, as well as browse the art exhibition presented by Plain Arts Salisbury.

The event is the first of Celebrate Voice’s 2022 season.
