TWO incidents of criminal damage and attempted vehicle theft were reported in the West Dean area, Salisbury on May 1.

The first incident happened on May 1 at approximately 11pm and Salisbury Police are urging the public to be vigilant.

A window of a Toyota Landcruiser was smashed and electrics pulled out of the ignition in an attempt to start the vehicle.

It is believed the offenders left the scene in a dark coloured people carrier after being disturbed by the owner.

In a separate incident approximately 30 minutes later, damage was caused to a Citroen C5 – the offenders were disturbed by the owner.
