THERE will be fun for all ages as the Fabulous Family Fun Day is back in Salisbury.

The event, which will be in its eighth year, is held in memory of Lyn Futcher who died from breast cancer and raises money for Salisbury Hospice Charity.

It takes place today (Saturday, May 14) from 12noon to 10pm at Salisbury Rugby Club.

It features live music, children’s entertainment, a beer festival, Pimms and Prosecco bars as well as football and touch rugby tournaments.

Entry is free and in addition to the entertainment line-up event sponsor Hendy Group is offering everyone the chance to win a £100 voucher for Thruxton Circuit by guessing the number of balloons in one of its cars at the event.

Event organiser Greig Futcher said that once again the local community has joined forces to put together a packed day of entertainment.

He added: “It’s great to be back after the enforced Covid break and this year the event is set to be bigger and better than ever and every penny we raise will be going straight to the Salisbury Hospice Charity.

“Thanks to everyone who has pledged their support and we hope everyone comes down to enjoy the day on Saturday.”
