A LABRADOR needed thousands of pounds worth of treatment after it was attacked by two other dogs.

Police are now appealing for witnesses.

The attack happened at around 8.30pm on Tuseday, May 10.

A woman in her 50s was walking the Labrador in Castle Hill Country Park, when it was targeted by two dogs, believed to be American bulldogs.

Police say the Labrador sustained injuries, with treatment at the vets costing around £2,500.

The owner of the two dogs is described as a woman aged in her 30s, white, around 5ft tall with blonde shoulder-length hair.
