A NEW mayor has been elected in Wilton and hopes to get projects disrupted during Covid "back on track".

Cllr Andrew Kinsey takes on the role for 2022/2023 while Cllr Alan Crossley is deputy mayor.

Cllr Kinsey said: ”I would like to thank my fellow councillors for the honor of electing me as Mayor of Wilton and I am looking forward to working with the new deputy mayor Cllr Alan Crossley, councillors, staff and fellow Wiltonians.

"I also hope to get projects back on track after the two-year disruption of Covid-19 and promoting the important heritage assets of Wilton.

"I am committed to addressing the concerns of the people of Wilton and can be contacted anytime via the Town Council website.”
