SOME of the latest cases heard by Salisbury and Swindon Magistrates' Courts:

SHANNON PAULA CULLETON, aged 20, care of HM Prison Eastwood Park, pleaded guilty to assaulting a man by beating in Salisbury on May 17, 2021. She was committed to prison for 14 days and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128.

JOSHUA GRANT PEACOCK, aged 30, of Riverbourne Road, Collingbourne Ducis, indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting a man in Ludgershall on December 21, 2021. He was ordered to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £85. He was also ordered to receive mental health treatment, attend activities and appointments as instructed by an officer, and carry out 150 hours of unpaid work.

TYLER ROBIN BENNETT, aged 19, of Bridgewater Close, Harnham, pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis on October 10, 2021. He was fined £100 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.

OLIVER JAMES CURRAN, aged 32, of The Meadow, Gillingham, pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour while drunk at Salisbury Railway Station on April 8, 2022. He was fined £80 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.

WILLIAM CARL DAY, aged 31, of James Road, Amesbury, pleaded guilty to intentionally damaging a shower block window to the value of £275 on September 18, 2021. He was fined £42 and was ordered to pay compensation of £275, a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.

CLAIRE LOUISE FERGUSON, aged 40, of Pilgrims Way, Laverstock, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating on January 30, 2022. She was discharged conditionally for six months and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22 and costs of £85.

DAVID ANGELO RIGIANI, aged 70, of Flitcroft, Amesbury, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit. On April 11, 2022, Rigiani was recorded driving an Audi in Solstice Park with 59 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £120 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for 14 months.

JASON JAMES BURROWS, aged 35, of no fixed abode, was jailed for six months after he was found with a kitchen knife along Catherine Street in Salisbury on January 28, 2022. On February 7 he intentionally damaged a Wiltshire Police van cage. The offences were committed while Burrows was subject to a community sentence, resulting in jail. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128.

RASHAUN ANTOINE ENRICO WILLIAMS, aged 22, of Darfield Way, London, pleaded guilty to using a vehicle in Salisbury without the appropriate policy of insurance, recorded along Seth Ward Drive in Bishopdown on January 30, 2020. Williams was fined £440 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44 and costs of £620. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

JACK STEELE, aged 21, of Minto Street, Edinburgh, pleaded guilty to assaulting two police constables in Salisbury on November 25, 2021. He was fined £240 and was ordered to pay compensation of £50.

DEAN HUGH COCHRANE, aged 41, of no fixed abode, was jailed for 12 weeks after failing to follow the requirements of his community order. After previous offences in the Salisbury and south Wiltshire area, including theft and possessing class A drugs, Cochrane failed to attend office appointments and did not obey his curfew, collating nearly 10 hours of time violation.
