A 19-YEAR-OLD has faced the courts after a mixture of thefts and assault.

Jack Finlay Jordan, of Wilton Road in Salisbury, pleaded guilty to thefts of alcohol and electrical goods from various supermarkets, dating between January 2021 and March 2022.

Heard by Salisbury Magistrates' Court last month, on March 24, 2022, Jordan stole vodka from Lidl and Tesco Extra, both in Salisbury, totalling more than £80.

On March 7, 2022, he assaulted two people and stole two packs of beer from one of the BP garages in Salisbury.

On December 4, 2021, the defendant stole two televisions, totalling £680, from Tidworth Tesco, and assaulted a man by beating.

On January 14, 2021, he stole lager from Tesco Express in Salisbury.

A community order was already in force from previous offending.

As a result, Jordan was ordered to pay a total compensation of £150.

He must attend appointments and activities as instructed by an officer and complete 150 hours of unpaid work.
