AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a one-year-old girl fell from a second-storey window in Ringwood.
A heavy police and ambulance presence was reported by residents in the market town on May 19 after the incident, which saw the child taken to hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 1.32pm (May 19) to a report that a one-year-old girl had fallen from a second storey window at an address in Christchurch Road, Ringwood.
“The girl was taken to hospital with minor injuries and has since been discharged.
“Officers have been conducting enquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident.”
Residents also reported an air ambulance landed around the David Lloyd gym at the time of the incident.
