SALISBURY cases heard by Swindon Magistrates' Court:

DAVID ALAN KING, aged 55, of Meadow Road, Bulford, pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of drugs. On February 28, 2021, King was recorded driving a Ford Transit along Salisbury Road, Amesbury, with delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood - the main psychoactive ingredient of cannabis. He was fined £881 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £88 and costs of £800. He was banned from the road for 12 months. 

HILTON BOYD, aged 38, of Rectory Hill, West Dean, pleaded guilty to using a Volvo S40 along Bulford Road in Tidworth on January 25, 2021, when a test certificate had not been issued. The vehicle was fitted with a tyre that had either ply or cord exposed. Boyd was fined £576 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £58 and costs of £58. His driving record was endorsed with three points.

LEE BARRY, aged 39, of East Avenue, Stockport, pleaded guilty to driving at a speed exceeding 30mph along Marlborough Road, Bulford, on September 21, 2021. Barry was fined £646 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £65 and costs of £90. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

TERRI CATHERINE HICKS, aged 40, of Philip Road, Durrington, pleaded guilty to using a Ford Transit which was fitted with a tyre exposing either ply or cord on September 3, 2021. She was fined £80 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. Her driving record was endorsed with three points.

TOBY CHARLES MITCHELL, aged 25, of Salisbury Road, Shrewton, indicated a plea of guilty to possessing a quantity of cannabis while in Devizes on May 16, 2020. He was fined £80 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. The defendant’s time spent in custody was considered time served for the offence.
