The flags were flying as children in Fordingbridge marked the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Fordingbridge Infant and Junior Schools Federation enjoyed a picnic on Friday, May 27 in the school fields and welcomed deputy mayor, Cllr Pat Earth, and school governors, to join with the school in singing the national anthem.
They all enjoyed a jubilee lunch with crown shaped biscuits and a special cake made by Theresa Brownsey and her catering team.
The school said: “This was the event everyone had been looking forward to, to round off their learning about why this is such a special year for our Queen.”
