PARTIES, live entertainment, activities and games filled the streets of Salisbury across the last few days, as we celebrated the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Between June 2 and 5 the city turned red, white and blue for the festivities, as hundreds dressed up and took part in the fun.

The four-day weekend marked the 70-year reign of Queen Elizabeth II - the first monarch to achieve such a milesone.

From street parties to music, bouncy castles to street theatre, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

As we return to reality this morning, take a look at the gallery above - showcasing just some of the events that took place in Salisbury and the surrounding villages across the weekend.

More coverage and pictures will feature in this week's paper, as part of a special Jubilee edition, available from June 9.
