FIREFIGHTERS from Verwood responded to calls of a fire at an industrial estate.
The incident at a unit on Woolsbridge Industrial Estate near Three Legged Cross was reported to Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service on Monday morning.
Crews from Redhill Park, Springbourne, Poole, Ringwood and two from Christchurch also attended the fire, which involved the electrical supply. Multiple carbon dioxide fire extinguishers were used and the electricity supply was isolated.
A post on the Verwood Fire Station Facebook page said: “At around 11.15 this morning we were alerted to an industrial unit on the Woolsbridge Industrial Estate. Once in attendance a fire involving the electrical supply to the premises was discovered.
“Additional resources were requested and a total of six pumping appliances attended. The fire was extinguished using multiple CO2 extinguishers and isolation of the electric supply.”
The incident was dealt with by around 12.40pm.
