Young performers are being sought to be part of Wiltshire Creative's next panto in Salisbury.

Open auditions are being held for performers from the local area aged between 12 and 17 years old to be part of Cinderella.

Just 12 lucky auditionees will get the chance to tread the boards in this year's Christmas pantomime which is directed by Gareth Machin and written by Plested, Brown and Wilsher.

The role will primarily involve dancing and acting with singing required in the larger ensemble numbers.

Wiltshire Creative said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for any aspiring actors, singers, or dancers to work and perform with a professional acting company and production team, on the main stage at Salisbury Playhouse."

Auditions will take place on Saturday, July 2 at Salisbury Playhouse.

The creative team is looking for young performers to create two teams of six young company members to perform in the festive retelling of Cinderella.

The audition applications will remain open until Monday, June 27 and can be submitted online
