RESIDENTS joined together in Ringwood to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. 

A party in the park event was held on Sunday at Carvers Recreation Ground.

There was a live music stage providing entertainment during the day as well as lots of activities for children. 

On Friday (June 3), the new Mayor of Ringwood, Cllr Gareth Deboos did the honours at a ribbon cutting for the oak tree planted at Greyfriars to celebrate the jubilee. 

The day before a beacon was also lit in the town. 

Celebrations were held across the area over the jubilee weekend.
