A driver sustained minor injuries after a crash involving two HGVs on the A303 yesterday (Friday, June 10).

The road was closed in both directions between the A36 Deptford and the A350 Chicklade.

The incident was reported to Wiltshire Police at 2.40pm. 

A spokesperson for the police force said: "We responded to a  road traffic collision involving two HGVs on the A303 at the junction with the A350 which was reported to us at 2.40pm.

"One of the drivers suffered minor injuries. There were no arrests.

"Most of the road closures were lifted by 5.30pm with the final closure of the A350/ A303 junction being reopened at 7.20pm."
