THIS year sees Salisbury Community Choir celebrate its 30th anniversary.

To mark the milestone the choir is going to be performing a concert which will include works it has done over the year together with Bob Chilcott’s Singing by Numbers, a celebration of singing in all its various forms.

The choir is also saying farewell to its musical director Jeremy Backhouse, who is leaving after 10 years. His predecessor Fiona Clarke will also be conducting at the concert.

The concert is on Saturday, July 2 in St Thomas’s Church at 7.30pm. Tickets are £15 and can be obtained from tickets@salisburycommunitychoir.org
