THERE will be a reduced bus service across Salisbury this morning, June 20, due to "operational issues".

Bus company Salisbury Reds has apologised for the inconvenience caused to routes R1, PR9, PR15, PR3, PR11 and PR7.

The R1 covers journeys between Bemerton Heath, the city centre and Salisbury District Hospital.

Park and ride (PR) services covering Wilton, Britford, Old Sarum and Petersfinger, and along London Road, are also affected by the reductions.

Salisbury Reds said on Twitter this morning: "There are going to be reduced services on R1s, PR9/PR15s and PR3/PR11 and PR7 this morning due operational issues. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this."

This comes after a weekend of bus cancellations, also caused by "operational issues".
