Firefighters came to the rescue of a boy who got stuck in the mud in Salisbury.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called yesterday (Wednesday, June 22) to an area of playing field in Britford Lane following reports of a person stuck in mud.
Two crews from Salisbury attended and released a 12-year-old boy from the mud.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "We were called at 7:33pm yesterday to an area of playing field in Britford Lane following reports of a person stuck in mud.
"Two crews from Salisbury attended and on arrival found a 12-year-old boy with his legs stuck in mud.
"Crews released him from the mud. The injuries were reported and the crews left the scene at 8.15pm."
