Amesbury Police are investigating a burglary at the Green Fingers Community Gardens.

The incident took place overnight in the Stockport Avenue allotments between 6pm on Monday 13 June and 2pm on Tuesday 14 June.

During the burglary, suspects damaged two sheds, and a circular saw, claw hammer and cement trowel were stolen.

The property is currently owned by Green Fingers Community Garden and its members.

Allotment users and shed owners have been asked to remove any valuables or power tools to secure buildings when not in use.

Amesbury Police would like to hear from anyone who has any information in relation to the incident, including anyone who was in the area overnight or may have dash cam or CCTV footage to help with enquiries.
