ARMED FORCES Day comes to Salisbury with military displays from 32 Regiment Royal Artillery and the Military Intelligence.

This free event today (June 26) takes place in the Salisbury Market Place, Guildhall and Guildhall Place and provides Salisbury residents with the opportunity to pay tribute to serving military personnel and to the many veterans.

The event starts at 10am and closes at 4pm and there will be live music from the Army Medical Services Band starting at 11.30am.

Visitors to the event can expect to see military charities, and workshops, and there will be fair rides and face painting for children.

In Tidworth, the Armed Forces Day event is in the Polo Field behind Tedworth House. Visitors can enjoy the many events planned which includes the Tigers’ Army Parachute Display team and the Hawkeye Falconry with ‘have a go’ sessions.
