Dogs looking for homes at Salisbury Dogs Trust

Dexter

Ten-year-old terrier Dexter is a bright older chap who is searching for owners to help him learn some new skills as part of his training programme with the help of Dogs Trust trainers.

He is looking for a quiet home with one adult owner and minimal visitors and no visiting children. 

Dexter will need his own secure garden and the home should be non-open plan. 

Bentley

Bentley is a three-year-old Cane Corso who has so much love to give and has the goofiest personality.

He is anxious so needs a patient and understanding new owner who is willing to go at Bentley’s pace as he builds up his confidence.

They will also need to be able to manage Bentley when on walks as he’s strong on the lead. 

Bentley is looking for a home with his own large secure garden to play and lounge around in. He hopes for a home in a rural location with minimal visitors.

Murphy

Terrier cross Murphy is seven-years-old and has bundles of energy.

He is a very enthusiastic chap who loves exploring in the countryside, playing with his favourite toys and sniffing out treats in fun enrichment games.

He’s very smart and is looking for owners who have the time to invest in his training so he can flourish.

He can find other dogs unnerving, so he much prefers being the only star of the show.

Murphy would need to be the only pet in his new home and live with at least two adults.

Vilma

Vilma is a friendly 11-year-old Dachshund cross. Despite her age she is still full of beans.

She’s very sociable and loves to be around people, so she is looking for a home with owners who are around most of the time, and where she will be the only pet.

She’d also love her new family to be quite active and able to take her on nice quiet walks away from the hustle and bustle, where she won’t bump into any other dogs.

Vilma is dreaming of a garden to call her own to potter around and relax in. She is very keen on playing with her toys but hasn’t quite mastered bringing them back.
